Letters: Bulldozing paradise

Bulldozing paradise

Editor:

The current human assault on our planet is unprecedented in geologic history. Never has one species killed, polluted, displaced and generally torn up God’s green earth as we are doing right now.

And denial has become the dominant human response.

We here in Prescott, Arizona, are no better. The mayor and City Council are now secretly debating just how much to ruin our most-beloved, God-given treasure, the Granite Dells, by bulldozing it for a hotel, roads and mansions for the rich.

If you want to have a say in this, call up the City Council (928-777-1248) and ask them to actually save the Granite Dells — for our kids and grandkids. And write a letter to this paper.
