Tuesday, March 5, was graduation for the Little Learners at the Cordes Lakes Library. Of course, they didn’t know what graduation was and they didn’t care. What was important is that it was party time! The game room featured a table and chairs, small size, painted by Dee Landrie with the Dr. Seuss character.

The event featured Dr. Seuss with Green Eggs and Ham and Danielle Navarro read the story to the group. Crafts were next with paper plates and glued on pictures of green eggs and ham. More glue than eggs, but all were happy.

After that they lined up for a march to pin the hat on Dr. Seuss. After three spins, the little ones were guided to the wall, and while blind-folded tried to place the hat on Dr. Seuss. Eli Navarro did an excellent job and had only a bit of space between Dr. Seuss’ head and the hat.

When they returned to the game room, they found plates of green eggs and ham waiting for them. Many just started eating, but Audrey St Pierre was a bit skeptical and did the small taste test first.

But since they tasted like eggs, even though they were green, she enjoyed her meal.
