Humboldt school district fundraiser at Entertainment District July 6
Faultlines to perform at 7 p.m.
The Humboldt Education Foundation (HEF), in partnership with the Fain Signature Group, offers a free concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Prescott Valley Entertainment District, 2990 N. Park Avenue near Harkins Theater.
This fundraiser benefits several HEF’s projects with the Humboldt Unified School District, including Hungry Kids, Teacher of the Year, scholarship to a Bradshaw Mountain High School graduating senior, and classroom grants.
All the money raised at this concert, and two more in the summer series, goes toward those projects.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs, family, friends and dogs to the outdoor event and enjoy music and dancing. A beer and wine garden also sells water and soda.
The first concert in the series on June 1 also offered a 50/50 drawing, with the winner taking home $150, said Lori Hunt.
Faultlines, an original rock trio from Prescott headlined by Johan Glidden, will perform. The group has produced three CDs.
HEF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide community support for excellence in education and to contribute to the educational experiences that impact the lives of its students.
