Letter: Humanitarian treatment
The solution to “the border issues” should reflect our country’s history of approaching issues in humanitarian ways/means rather than political slice/dice.
I believe almost every city in the United States would agree to sponsor two immigrant families. This would solve the current need to help these people who are fleeing from poverty, fear and violent death. I believe the churches would all contribute to this effort and thus avoid political jargon that the “government” would have to provide for these families.
The U.S.A. is “US.” Humanitarians — not political drones.
