Chino Valley police seek juvenile for trespassing at Aquatics Center
One girl charged in June 30 incident

Posting a video on Snapchat while on the grounds of the Chino Valley Aquatics Center after hours has led to the arrest of one juvenile, and police are seeking the identity of a second girl.

A July 2 news release from the Chino Valley Police Department states two female juveniles entered the Aquatics Center after hours on Sunday, June 30, accessing the pool, and then posted a video of themselves on social media.

Officers identified one of the girls as a 15-year-old Chino Valley resident; she has been charged with trespassing. Officers are seeking to identify the second juvenile. If anyone has information, they may contact dispatch at 928- 771-3260.

CVPD would like to remind people to stay off the grounds of the Aquatics Center after regular hours. They could sustain, among other things, injuries while jumping the iron rod fence, or drowning, as there is no lifeguard on duty to assist in case of distress.
