Letter: ‘Preskitt’ proud
Why do so many newcomers move here and tell us how much better things were back home? A good example is a Texas Transplant who had two letters recently published by the Courier. The first letter criticized our city because its racial makeup is “95-plus percent Caucasian” and lacks diversity. The sec-ond letter advocates more gun control.
We moved here from Chicago 18 years ago because Prescott was a safe, wholesome place to raise a teenage daughter. A once great city, Chicago has been transformed into the world’s murder capital due to decades of failed liberal Democratic policies. But it has “diversity.”
All proud Prescottonians can say “Preskitt, love it or leave it.”
