Cooking With Diane: Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Cheesy Scalloped potatoes are a great side dish with chicken, chops or steak, and a nice change from mashed potatoes or fries. Hope you try them.

“Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes”

3 medium potatoes (sliced real thin)

1 can cream of celery soup

1/2 soup can of milk

1/4 stick of butter (melt)

1 teaspoon celery salt

1 teaspoon onion powder

pepper to taste

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 cup French fried onion rings

Butter an 8x8 baking dish. Put sliced potatoes evenly over the bottom. In a bowl mix soup, milk, onion powder, pepper and celery salt together. Pour melted butter over potatoes, then pour soup mix over the potatoes. Sprinkle both cheeses over the potato-and-soup mixture. Top with French fried onion rings. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
