Arizona’s Children Association will hold its inaugural Kindergarten Readiness Fair on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus in Building 19, Room 147. Admission is free to families thanks to the support of the “First Things First” grant.

Parents will be able to participate in activities that will help prepare their child for this next step, learn about kindergarten classroom options in their neighborhoods and be briefed with information about community resources that may support their transition into school.

The Family Education Support Services of Arizona’s Children Association supports the development of early learning, focusing on the time period before children arrive at Kindergarten.

These service prep activities will be shared throughout the fair along with a kindergarten teacher panel presentation. Light snacks will be served, and educational gifts and prizes will be provided to all participants.
