The Morgan Ranch Park Association thanks Old Stage Stop Country Store, C-A-L Ranch Store and Olsen’s Grain for supporting the Morgan Ranch Nature Park by making the book Williamson Road available to their customers. The book tells the story of the historic and scenic Williamson Valley Road. Proceeds from the book purchased from these fine local retailers support the 15-acre Yavapai County Morgan Ranch Nature Park located at the north-east corner of Williamson Valley Road & Nancy Drive.
Our county nature park preserves a portion of the historic Morgan/Cooper Ranch for the purpose of enjoying the natural beauty of Williamson Valley. The 1-mile Cooper-Morgan loop trail, part of the Yavapai Trail system, winds across boulders; through oak, manzanita, and juniper trees. Bird houses encourage a variety of native birds to nest along the Morgan Ranch Park Association Bluebird Trail. A picnic table and teak benches along the Morgan Ranch Park Association Bluebird Trail. A picnic table and teak benches are available for picnics, nature observation and relaxation.
