Letter: Durst dirt

Editor:

I was very disappointed to see Will Durst’s column back in the Jan. 5 edition of The Daily Courier after an absence of many, many weeks. Durst isn’t just another anti-Trump, anti-Republican columnist. Many of those make valid points and observations.

Durst offers nothing but snide, personal insults to all things Trump or conservative. An example is his “gift” for Kellyanne Conway: a red, white and blue muzzle. The muzzle should have been given to U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, or, better yet, to that newly elected, very “classy” and articulate congresswoman from Michigan.

The imaginary gifts given by Durst to Trump, his family or supporters were negative, insulting and personal. Another example was his gift to Sarah Huckabee Sanders: a round trip ticket on the clue train.

Durst should take a ride on said train and not return. According to his column, he is a former sod farmer. As far as I am concerned he is still throwing dirt and manure where it doesn’t belong.
