Cooking With Diane: Crescent Apple Dumplings

If you need a quick, delicious dessert for unexpected company or just to treat your family, these apple dumplings are for you. Hope you give them a try.

Crescent Apple Dumplings

1 roll of refrigerated crescent rolls

1 stick butter (melted)

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 Granny-Smith apples

1 can of 7-Up

Separate dough into their eight pieces. Peel and slice apples. Place 1-2 slices of apple on the wide side of the dough, roll up and put into a greased baking dish.

In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Pour over the top of the rolls. Then take the 7-Up and pour in between the rolls, not over them.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
