Ronald Lee Schuerer succumbed to cancer on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He just turned 69.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosalind (Fredericks).
A Chino Valley resident and active in the Chino Valley Bible Church, Ron successfully spent 40-plus years working his cabinet-building business and spent many years as a Professional LPGA Caddy.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed flying planes and playing golf. While following his passion for golf, he recently was involved in teaching to a high school team and volunteering with PGA HOPE group to teach the Local Vets golf.
Born Dec. 16, 1949, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, he is survived by his wife, Penny Dann; brother, Steve Schuerer (Connie); and sisters, Kay Westling (Arlen) and Lori Schuerer (Joel).
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at the Chino Valley Bible Church, located at 317 Marketplace Drive, in Chino Valley.
