  • NDE (Near Death Experiences) stories shared and explored, 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., Prescott Public Library, Elsie Room, 215 E. Goodwin St. We will be reviewing NDE accounts as this can bring new meaning and direction to your life. Facilitated by Karl Krumins and friends.
  • Introduction to GED Series, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Prescott Valley Public Library, PC Lab, 7401 East Skoog Blvd. The GED is a group of four subject tests which, when passed, provide certification that the test taker has United States high school-level academic skills. We know that the GED is not academically easy and PVPL wants to help. The GED is for people who are no longer an appropriate age to enroll in high school. The first meeting of this series is an ‘Introduction to the GED’ and will cover what PVPL will be offering to help those in need. The PVPL will then have GED Open Support Sessions every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in the PC Lab. No registration required. If you have any questions, call 928-759-3040.

  • Coffee Chats, with Yavapai County Supervisor Jack R. Smith, 8 a.m., the Step One Coffee House, 6719 E. 2nd Street, Prescott Valley. Join Supervisor Smith to learn about important local issues and initiatives facing Yavapai County. These informal gatherings are held in a casual friendly-environment giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and engage in open-discussions about community issues of importance, such as County Budget, Taxes and upcoming events. This is an open event and all are welcome to attend.
