“The Power of Planting” will be the topic at Prescott UU Fellowship. Ed Hamilton, aided by two TED videos, will lead a discussion of the vast environmental and social benefits of growing food near home. We look at two food-growing project’s life changing effects and how we may emulate them.

At 7 p.m. Jan. 16, the Doane Choir from Nebraska will give a concert of choral music at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive. The concert is free and open to the public.
