“The Power of Planting” will be the topic at Prescott UU Fellowship. Ed Hamilton, aided by two TED videos, will lead a discussion of the vast environmental and social benefits of growing food near home. We look at two food-growing project’s life changing effects and how we may emulate them.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical program that helps “regular” people overcome hurts and negative habits to live in freedom with Christ. Follow the Beatitudes with us. Thursdays, American Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, “Meet, Greet, & Eat” at 5:30 p.m., followed by worship and teaching at 6 p.m.

Granite Peak UU Congregation, weekly meetings have resumed! Wednesday, Jan. 9, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Granite Peak UU Congregation, 882 Sunset, Prescott. Coffee & cold beverages provided. We won’t solve all the world’s problems, but we’ll explore and discuss them as we learn from each other. Dr. Goodie Berquist, Moderator.

At 7 p.m. Jan. 16, the Doane Choir from Nebraska will give a concert of choral music at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive. The concert is free and open to the public. The Doane Choir has toured all over the United States, Europe, Brazil, and South Africa.; 928-445-4348.

Jane’s Hope is a Christian ministry open to anyone who has relinquished a child through abortion or adoption, to share, heal, support each other, and experience forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
