Cooking with Diane: Taco Spaghetti
Taco Spaghetti is a quick and easy meal for those working moms. Serve it with warm garlic bread; your family will love it.
1-10 ounce package of spaghetti
1 1-ounce package of taco seasoning
1 pound lean ground beef
1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic (diced)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Cook spaghetti according to directions. Drain and set aside. Cook ground beef, onion, garlic until meat is brown. Add taco seasoning and water and can of tomatoes, simmer. In a bowl, mix together soup and 1 cup of cheese.
Spread spaghetti in a greased 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish, spread soup mixture over spaghetti, then spread beef mixture over that. Top with remaining cheese, Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
