Camerata singers give pre-Valentine’s Day concert

The Camerata Singers, under the direction of Jim Klein, will present a pre-Valentine’s Day concert Saturday, Feb. 9.

With a focus on love, the concert is titled “Faces of Love” and will feature new songs as well as arrangements of familiar love songs. Its four sections include love from abroad, love American style, unrequited love and love in jazz stylings with pieces ranging from acapella to piano accompaniment, cello, flute and percussion. Some of the songs to be performed are “If Ye Love Me,” “All the Things You Are,” “I’ve Got you Under My Skin,” “My Funny Valentine,” “Blow the Candles Out,” and “Taking a Chance on Love.”

The show is at 2:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 2000 Shepherds Lane. Tickets are $18 or $30 for two and are available online at www.prescottchorale.org/faces-of-love, at the door or from members of the Camerata Singers.
