Mary Elaine (Lombardi) Annecchini

Mary Elaine (Lombardi) Annecchini, 94, of Prescott Arizona, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 9, 2019. She was finally able to rejoin her husband Rocky of 63 years who predeceased her in 2009. She was born to the late Domenico and Felicia Lombardi, on August 23, 1925 in Kiskimere, Pennsylvania. Mary was also predeceased by her brothers Mastrino Lombardi, Frank J. Lombardi Grill Sr. and sister Dora Danilowicz and grandson Rocky Walter Annecchini.

She married the most-animated man ever born, Rocco Annecchini, in June of 1946. They lived together in the Saltsburg Pennsylvania area before relocating and settling in Prescott Arizona.

Mary is survived by her prized possessions: six children: Victor (Linda) Annecchini of Avonmore, PA; Toni (Paul) Shearon of Flagstaff, AZ; Rocky (Shirley) Annecchini of Prescott; Debbie (Dave) Fisher of Prescott; Becky (Mike) Medina of San Juan Capistrano, CA; and Dino (Adrienne) Annecchini of Flagstaff, AZ. She was also blessed by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Mary worked at numerous restaurants over the years because of her ability to make the most mouth-watering cookies, sauces and soups. Nobody ever left hungry! Time in the kitchen with her children and grandchildren was memorable and precious. If you needed a blanket, she would crochet you one. Music was always flowing from her lips with a song or humming a tune. For years she sang as a soprano in Sweet Adelines with her beautiful voice. Everyone was called “sweetheart or honey.” Other than her family, her pride and joy was her beautiful garden! Mary’s entire yard was adorned with the colors of the rainbow with her meticulously well-tended landscapes. Even in her aging years, she would be found outside climbing over the retaining walls to pull weeds and keep her property pristine and the flowers blooming! Mary was a communicant at St Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, in Chino Valley, where services will be held on January 25th, 2020 at 1 PM.
