Thank You Notes: Pancake breakfast, purse found and benefit concert singers
A giant Thank You to all who attended the 63rd annual Pancake Breakfast at the First Congregational Church on Gurley Street prior to the Fourth of July Parade in Prescott. All of the net proceeds of the breakfast were donated to Discovery Gardens Early Childhood Center on Gurley Street in Prescott. Thanks to your attendance, we were able to donate approximately $3,500 to the school.
We would like to recognize all of the hard-working volunteers, including the Discovery Gardens team, Boy Scout Troop No. 1, our church family, and members of our community for the many hours they devote each year to making this event possible. In addition, thanks to The Prescott Art Market and Raven’s Relics at Gateway Mall, and special thanks to Raskin’s Jewelry for its generous donation of a beautiful bracelet and to The Finn at Touchmark for the gift certificates.
Rev. Dr. Jay Wilcher
Benefit concert singers
A big thank you to the Granite Mountain Bel Canto Singers who performed a benefit concert for the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank last Sunday. First Congregational Church provided the venue. Fun and entertaining songs from well-known operas were beautifully sung with a delightfully dramatic and humorous air.
Much gratitude to the talented Bel Canto Singers for supporting Prescott Community Cupboard!
