Jimmie Dean Eisberg passed away in Prescott, Arizona, on Aug. 12, 2019. He was 81 years old. He was born Nov. 7, 1937, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Frances Jane Jones and Harold Dean Eisberg.

The family moved to Prescott, Arizona, on July 4, 1949. Harold, known as “Okie,” started EZ Transmix in 1949. Jim worked at the company and became part owner and president after his father’s death in 1973. Jim later became part owner of Yavapai Materials.

In November 1987, the Yavapai-Prescott Tribe presented a plaque to Jim for the many years of support and generosity to the tribe. Jim served, for a time, on the board of the Yavapai Savings and Loan. EZ Transmix was sold in 1999 after 50 years of business in Prescott.

Jim graduated from Prescott High School in 1955 and ASU in 1961 with a BS in Business Administration. While at ASU he was invited into Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and was a lifelong member. After graduation he joined the Air Force and served in a MASH unit.

Jim was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge of Aztlan #1, the Scottish Rite 32 degree, the Shrine and Jesters.

In retirement Jim enjoyed boating, RV trips and motorcycle touring across the country. His favorite destinations were Lake Powell, the Oregon Coast, Death Valley and Alaska.

He is survived by his wife, Karon; daughter, Ann; grandson, Carter; stepchildren, Kary and Bryan; step-grandchildren, Travis and Megan.
