Three-round 2019 EnduroCross series to kick off Aug. 24 in Prescott Valley

The creator of EnduroCross, Eric Peronnard, and Kicker Arenacross event promoter, Tod Hammock, have joined forces to ensure the future of extreme indoor off-road racing with the new EnduroX Racing Series. Peronnard and Hammock have secured AMA sanctioning for the 2019 series, with plans to expand back to full capacity in 2020 and beyond. The series will kick off with its first event at the Findley Toyota Center in Prescott Valley on Saturday, Aug. 24. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:30 p.m. General Admission tickets will be $29 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $19 for children (Ages 2-12) while VIP Reserved Seating (all ages) and Loge Seating will be $35 each. WWE Live returns to Findlay Toyota Center on Sept. 28

WWE LIVE comes back to the Findlay Toyota Center on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Many of the sport’s most iconic stars will take over Prescott Valley for a night of heart-pounding body slams and backbreaking throws. Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Workshop set for Sept. 6-8 in Prescott

The 48th annual Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Workshop at Friendly Pines Camp in Prescott is scheduled to take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 6-8. Interested in learning about firearms? Take aim at rifle marksmanship, learn proper way to mount and fire a shotgun. Handguns? A class is available on the range to learn how to shoot, and will include basic maintenance of the weapon. Interested in fishing? The warm-water fishing class on a private pond stocked with largemouth bass and channel catfish is available. The basics of casting are taught, among other things. Other classes include horsemanship, rappelling, wilderness medicine, map and compass, birding and hiking. Class materials, food and lodging are included in the $275 fee. Free Yavapai College youth soccer clinics available in August

Members of the 2019 Yavapai College men’s soccer team will conduct a free youth soccer clinic Saturday, Aug. 17, at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott. The clinic will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Boys and girls ages 5-15 are eligible to participate. No registration is required. If possible, participants should bring their own soccer balls. All participants will receive a special soccer souvenir gift. RAM Turquoise Circuit Finals returning to Prescott Valley Oct. 4-5

The RAM Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo is part of the circuit system devised by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It is scheduled to take place at the Findlay Toyota Center and is a championship event, bringing the top rodeo athletes from this region to Prescott Valley, competing for approximately $175,000 in prize money, during an action-packed rodeo weekend. Every performance will include bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding. Tickets start at just $14.
