GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) The Monday Club, Inc., recently held its annual tea at the Arizona Pioneers Home in Prescott.

The tables were beautifully decorated with spring flowers, and at each place was a colorful garden glove containing a napkin, courtesy of Lark Cyr, social director of the home. Cyr coordinated the event with the Monday Club.

The ladies of the home came dressed for the special occasion, each with a spring hat. Cyr saw that cookies would be delivered to those residents who were unable to attend the event.

The Monday Club members served an assortment of flavored teas, cookies, and cream puffs. During the tea, Diane Elliot, pastor of the Chino Valley Church of the Nazarene, sang many old time hymns which everyone seemed to know and were able to sing along, even the gentlemen present.
