Nadine Ann Taylor Davie (Nan), age 94, of Heber City, Utah, died on April 5, 2019.

Burial will be in Honeyville, Utah, at a later date and with graveside services only.

Nadine was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Anna and Gilbert Taylor and attended schools in Newton, Iowa. In 1945 she married Perry (Bud) Davie upon his return from the U.S. Army Air Corps Services in World War II. They lived in Vancouver, Washington, Southern California, Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Kwajalein Island during his career with Douglas Aircraft, with Nadine often working as an executive secretary. Upon Bud’s retirement, they traveled extensively in their RV, and then settled in Honeyville, Utah. Nan went back to work for 12 years at Thiokol Corp. as a secretary in manufacturing. In retirement she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, gardening and canning.

In 1989 they moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona, with other friends, and continued their travels throughout the U.S. Nan also loved aerobic classes, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and daily walks in the park with her dog. She later moved to Elk Meadows Assisted Living in Oakley, Utah, in 2013 where she received tender care and made many friends. In 2018 she moved to Sante Assisted Living in Heber City, where she was compassionately cared for until her passing.

Surviving family include two grandsons, Tom and Randy Davie; great-granddaughter Maddie Rierson; son-in-law Rick Menard; nieces and nephews, Judy Crim, Toni Robinette, Gayle Smith, Sandy Taylor, Ron Regan, Larry Regan, Bob Gardner and Rod Taylor.

Nan was preceded in death by her husband, Perry (Bud); son Randy; daughter Cheri Reirson Menard; and grandsons, Todd and Rod Rierson.
