Winners for the third annual Dancing for the Stars fundraiser event Saturday, April 13, at the Elks Theatre in Prescott were announced Sunday afternoon.

Set to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona, the fundraiser event was expected to raise about $350,000, the organization's interim executive director Nicole Kennedy told the Courier on Saturday night.

An exact number was not available at press time Sunday evening.

Laura Markey and her partner Colten Davault won the People's Choice Award, while Markey won the mirrorball trophy for Best Friendraiser.

Also, Megan Holdsworth and partner Ron Howard won the Judge's Choice Award at the third annual event.
