What a year it has been in preschool! This year has brought so much learning, giggles, friends and fun, as well as a brand new playground! The staff at Territorial Early Childhood Center has worked hard to bring the children of Chino Valley a high quality developmental preschool, meeting the needs of our diverse population of 3-5 year olds.

The curriculum is developed within themes, and changes each year based on the needs and interests of the students in the program. The school also offers Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapies to help alleviate possible delays.

TECC preschool is a Quality First rated program, continually striving to give its students the best education possible through teacher trainings, exciting manipulatives, and a constant growth mindset. This program has allowed them to offer need-based scholarships to children in our community, making early education possible for everyone.

This year, the school was blessed in receiving a new playground structure, complete with foam ground covering, and surrounded by a bike path. This playground is accessible to all students, even those with physical disabilities, and includes musical instruments for children to experiment with. Four times a day, students can be seen climbing, sliding, crawling, and making music with the biggest smiles on their faces.

If you have any questions about the upcoming school year, please call the TECC front office at 928-636-3842.
