Smoki Museum hosts celebration of Native American culture

Nakotah LaRance, six-time World Hoop Dance champion from Moenkopi and Flagstaff, begins the Hoop Dance on Saturday, April 13, at the Smoki Museum’s inaugural Contemporary Native Arts Festival. The festival continues Sunday with the Gourd Dance on Ken Lindley Field at 11 a.m. and concludes with a performance by Supaman beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is $5.
