Obituary: Eva Ursula Marshall (nee Mehlich)

Eva Ursula Marshall (nee Mehlich): On March 19, 2019, Eva went, peacefully, to join her mother, father, brother and sister in heaven. Her husband Craig and son Andy were at her side. Eva was born on Oct. 31, 1932, in Kreuzburg, Upper Silesia, a former province of Germany, now part of Poland.
Eva is survived by her loving husband Craig; her son Andy of Chino Valley, Arizona; and her daughter Pamela of Anaheim, California. Eva and Craig were married on Nov. 3, 1956, in Moosburg, German, where Craig served in he U.S. Air Force nearby and Eva worked for the Air Force Exchange System. A happier marriage has not been created yet. It was love at first sight. Eva and Craig were inseparable the entire 62 years, even though Craig traveled often for business. Eva and Craig’s journey together covered Germany, New Jersey, Montana, California and Arizona.
Eva was a super wife and mother who always took an active part in every aspect of her family’s life. She helped Craig through Engineering School, took and active part in her children’s earlier years, including scouting, 4H, horse shows, camping, fishing and much more.
She always took an active part in Craig’s professional life in engineering and real estate, entertaining often. Eva was co-founder and co-owner of C Marshall and Associates Realty and was active in the business until retirement in 2008. Eva was also actively involved in the community from 1991 until 1998. Eva will be deeply missed by her husband and children.
