Prescott football’s Amos, Fenderson, Flores, Clark earn NFF scholar athlete awards

Four Prescott High School football players received National Football Foundation (NFF) Valley of the Sun Chapter Scholar Athlete honors on Saturday, April 6, in Scottsdale.
Named to the First Team was Colton Amos, who carried a 4.0/4.75 GPA and garnered All-State accolades.
Senior Garrett Fenderson, who earned a 4.0/4.3 GPA, was an All-Arizona Honorable Mention and named to the second team.
Max Flores took home honorable mention honors.
Badgers quarterback Austin Clark was an All-State and All-Region Player of the Year in 2018 despite playing most of his senior year with an injury. He was honored with the NFF Shaw Courage Award. A Top-15 Scholar Athlete, Clark posted a 3.93 GPA.
The Chapter Awards were presented at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort. Forty high school players were presented with scholarship awards as scholar athletes, and two college athletes were presented with post-grad scholarships.
