Obituary: Delaney Mae Herron-Swanson

Delaney Mae Herron-Swanson passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2018, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was 57 years young. Delaney is survived by her loving husband, Erik Swanson; sons, Danny Zimmerman and Joshua Herron; father, John Herron; mother Bonney Herron; brother, Michael (Skip) Herron; sister, Charle Herron; and six grandchildren. Delaney was born at the Grand Canyon on Oct. 9, 1960, sharing a birthday with John Lennon, and moved to Prescott in 1988 to pursue her nursing career, as an ICU charge nurse. She was bigger than life, greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
