Barks ‘n Beers fundraiser set for The Barley Hound

Dine under the stars with your dog at Barks ‘n Beers from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, on the back patio of The Barley Hound, 234 S. Cortez St. in Prescott.

Dinner with a beer or non-alcoholic drink may be purchased for $20, with a portion of the evening’s proceeds to benefit United Animal Friends.

PV seeking artisans, vendors for Gold Fever Day

The Town of Prescott Valley is seeking artisans and vendors for its Gold Fever Day held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in Fain Park, 2200 N. 5th St.

Meant to celebrate the rich history of the Prescott Valley area with a focus on pioneer era living and mining for gold, the day will have live concerts featuring the High Mountain Chordsmen, the Gadabouts and Southern Flight along with free games and activities, reenactors from Sharlot Hall Museum, survivalist demonstrations by outdoorsman Tom Blank, historic tours, gold panning, hikes, food trucks, and a free fishing clinic.
