Prescott Police seeking public help to arrest those behind firing gunshots Sunday

The Prescott Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find and arrest the culprits who fired gunshots from a four-door Cadillac sedan in the downtown area on Sunday, Sept. 2.

At 2:09 a.m., police investigated three separate incidents of gunshots fired in and around the downtown area. Witnesses informed police that the gunshots were fired from a Cadillac, possibly a silver CTS model with a cracked windshield and a dent in the right front quarter panel, according to a department news release.

The Cadillac was spotted driving at a high rate of speed in populated areas while attempting to evade pursuing police officers.

Anyone with information on those responsible for committing “these dangerous acts” is asked to contact Detective John Hanna at 928-777-1961.
