The Prescott Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Mortimer Farms and Yavapai Regional Medical Center for the second annual Farm to Table: A Local Dining Experience community event. This event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Mortimer Farms, 12907 Highway 169, Dewey.

The purpose of this event is to bring families and the community together through a taste-full country experience and to support local businesses, according to a news release.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Business Expo will feature the booths of Chamber business members. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to win prizes donated by businesses around the Quad Cities. Booth reservations for the Business Expo cost $100, which includes two Farm to Table dinner tickets. Please register for the Business Expo at Prescott.org.

At the Farm to Table event, a wine tasting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. provided by Granite Creek Vineyards. A farm-fresh dinner, prepared by Mortimer Farms, will be served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dancing, featuring live music from Sidewynder, will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets for Farm to Table may be purchased for $35, which will cover the cost of dinner, wine samplings, and dancing. Purchase tickets at Prescott.org.

Children ages 4-12 can have their own Farm to Table experience from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., for the price of $10 per child. This will cover the cost of their entire meal and their activities, including fun at the Farm Park while they are being carefully supervised by members of 4-H and FFA. The children will then return from their activities, via hayride, in time to enjoy dancing with their families.

“Sponsoring the Farm to Table event for our community is part of the yearlong celebration of Yavapai Regional Medical Center’s 75th anniversary,” states Ken Boush, director of Marketing and Communications at YRMC. “Farm to Table is a first-class event, and we are thrilled to promote healthy, family centered activities while also supporting our local business community and local growers like Mortimer Farms. I hope that our friends and neighbors along with our extended YRMC family are able to enjoy this great event.”

The event will provide locals and tourists an opportunity to visit with local businesses and support regional agriculture while spending an evening in the fresh air, enjoying natural food with your families, friends and community neighbors.
