Letter: Loud meals
I must agree with the letter about restaurants being too loud for conversation. I hear this almost daily from Prescott residents.
If we cannot have an adult conversation, why go to a restaurant that forces us to shout to each other and the waiter? Do the owners not understand that we are coming for a nice experience and not a rock concert?
If we must shout or repeatedly ask “What did you say?” why would we wish to pay inflated prices for a meal? It seems only fast-food outlets are quiet enough to speak with dining companions.
Sorry restaurateurs, if you don’t care about our comfort we must take our business elsewhere.
