Patricia Barbara Law, EdD., beloved sister, mother, grandmother and dear friend, born Feb. 12, 1930, passed away peacefully on Aug. 23, 2018, in Sedona, Arizona. Patricia was born in Detroit, Michigan.
She attended Redford High School, El Camino College, California State University and earned her doctorate in education from Brigham Young University with honors. Patricia loved teaching, from children to adults. Childhood Development, Family Planning and Food preparation were her forte.
Patricia married Charles “Red” Barrett and moved to Redondo Beach, California, in the early ’50s. There they were blessed with two sons, John Barrett and Tim Barrett (Law). “Red” and Tim predeceased Patricia. Several years later, Patricia met and married Durwood Law and after their retirements, they moved to Prescott in the early 1990s from Escondido, California.
Patricia is survived by her son, John (Pamela), Tim’s wife Susan; and her brothers, Chuck (Izzy), Pete (Joanne) Morrison and their families. The family would like to thank Glenn of Compassus Hospice of Sedona for Patricia’s great care.
