Friends of the Prescott Valley Public Library conducted its semi-annual used book sale Oct. 19-20, and is in the midst of its membership drive that takes place Oct. 22-26.

The group raises money to help the library acquire new books, equipment, and materials for programs and activities such as the Children’s Summer Reading Program, teen and adult programs.

New and continuing members who are extending their membership will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card. The drawing will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.

Annual dues are $5 individual member, $10 for family, and $100 for a lifetime membership. Dues are tax deductible.
