Cooking With Diane: Pumpkin Spice Brownies

Everyone in the family especially the kids will love these chewy chocolaty, pumpkin brownies. I will certainly be making them again soon.

“Pumpkin Spice Brownies”

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

3/4 cup butter (melted)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 egg plus 1 yolk

2 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/4 cups flour

2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Whisk flour, spices and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk pumpkin, butter, sugars. Then add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet ones. Then stir in chocolate chips. Spread batter into a 9”x13” greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
