Toby York was born Feb. 28, 1978, in Prescott, Arizona. He grew up in Prescott and went to college in Flagstaff, but graduated with a dual bachelors from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. There he met and married the true love of his life, Kam-Marie. They returned to Prescott where Toby’s unbelievable business mind flourished.

He developed multiple software programs, ran York Dodge Chrysler Jeep, purchased The Hike Shack, and opened a realty company and a brokerage.

Since 2013 when he was diagnosed with Adenocarcenoma, he has skydived, traveled the country with Kam and their son, Wilson, taken his family to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, sailed on a Disney Cruise in Alaska (completing his visit to 49/50 states), he was a board member for The Highlands Center for Natural History, visited multiple MLB stadiums and Chicago Cubs games, and met his favorite player, Anthony Rizzo.

The world lost an amazing son, brother, uncle, “couzint,” dad, and husband on Oct. 14, 2018.
