Nancy Crose Comstock

Nancy Crose Comstock, 85, passed away Oct. 5, 2018, in Prescott, Arizona. She was born Sept. 16, 1933, in Phoenix to G.H. (Chick) and Lois Lambert Crose, relocating to Prescott at a young age. While attending Prescott High School she met Bill, the love of her life. They were married in Denver, Colorado, in 1951, eventually settling in Bakersfield, California.

After obtaining her higher education, she became a teacher, curriculum consultant and an administrator for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools. Following retirement, Bill and Nancy returned to Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leroy Crose.

Nancy enjoyed playing cards, traveling, genealogy and deeply loved her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Bill (Nancy) Comstock; daughter, Jeanne (David) Weber; daughter, Cindy (Steve) London; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon until 3 p.m. at Los Pinos Restaurant, 1240 White Spar Road, Prescott, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to a charity of your choice in Nancy’s name.
