Cooking with Diane: Crispy Spicy Fried Chicken Breasts

I was very pleased with this spicy chicken recipe; it tasted wonderful. There are a few steps needed to make this dish, but the time and results are well worth it.

“Crispy Spicy Fried Chicken Breasts”

1 pound chicken tenders

2 cups buttermilk

2 eggs

1/3 cup water

3/4 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons paprika

Enough oil (your choice) to fry crispy chicken

Put chicken in a Ziploc bag with the buttermilk. Marinade at least 2 or more hours. Then pat the buttermilk off chicken.

Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic salt. In a bowl whisk eggs, water, and hot sauce. In another bowl mix flour, salt,pepper, and cayenne. Dredge meat in flour mix, then egg mixture, then back into flour . Place meat on rack and put into refrigerator for 30 minutes .

Fry in oil at 350 degrees.
