YCCA teams up with State Farm, CAFMA and ‘Courier Cares’ to donate smoke alarms

Members of the Yavapai County Contractors Association are teaming up with State Farm, the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority and Prescott News Network’s “Courier Cares” initiative to give away smoke alarms.

Community members receiving a postcard from YCCA in the mail can bring it to CAFMA Fire Station 50 at 2780 N. Valley View Drive, Prescott Valley, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17 and receive a free smoke alarm.

Smoke alarms are available while supplies last.

The “Courier Cares” initiative recently hosted a successful community car wash event, with PNN staff cleaning more than 250 cars Sept. 22 to help raise money for the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary.
