Create-A-Tree entries due Nov. 15

The 17th annual Create-A-Tree Art Exhibit is an important part of the Prescott Valley holiday season at the Civic Center. It joins the Winter Light Parade and a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Prescott Valley Public Library and the Civic Center on Nov. 30.

Now is the time to start designing and preparing a special tree — applications are due Nov. 15. Applications received after this date may be considered based upon available space.

A great way to promote groups or organizations, the trees also help decorate the Civic Center and Library. Past trees have been non-traditional — using ladders or paint cans, for instance — non-denominational, and non-flammable.

There are no entry or admission fees for this program which will remain on display through Jan. 1. Stop by to view all the trees during regular library hours and vote for a favorite which may win the coveted “People’s Choice” award.
