Monday, May 28

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) donation, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Dutch Bros Prescott Valley, 5963 E. Highway 69. All proceeds from every drink sold Monday, May 28 will be given DAV Chapter 16. The proceeds will help DAV Chapter 16 raise money for Camp Corral, which is dedicated to transforming the lives of children of wounded, injured, ill and fallen military heroes by providing a unique summer camp experience.

Memorial Day Observance, 9 to 10 a.m., 815 E. Sheldon St. Prescott. The Yavapai Cemetery Association presents the annual Memorial Day observance at the historic Citizens Cemetery. The ceremony includes patriotic speeches by local officials and dignitaries; music by the Veterans Memorial Piper, High Mountain Chordsmen and Prescott Brass Ensemble; presentation of flags by Camp Verde Cavalry and Arizona Rough Riders; flag raising, volley and “Taps” by American Legion Post 6; community procession and attendance by numerous veterans’ organizations and living history groups. Parking is available in the nearby Yavapai College parking lots and surrounding streets. Bring a chair for your own comfort. Free admission.

National Cemetery Administration will conduct Memorial Day Ceremony, 11 a.m., Prescott National Cemetery. Due to construction, there will be no parking at the cemetery. Parking and shuttle service (to include wheelchair shuttle) will be available from the VA Hospital, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Follow the event parking signs.
