The 25th annual Ed Lepordo Memorial Pronghorn Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, at the Prescott Golf and Country Club. The tournament is an 18-hole, four-person scramble format. Entry fee is $85 per player, or $300 for a foursome. Entry fee includes lunch, green and cart fees, balls, player goodie bag and prizes. 4th annual John Hanna Memorial Invitational Tournament set for May 26-27
The fourth annual John Hanna Memorial Invitational Tournament is scheduled to take place Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, in Prescott. Six teams from Arizona and New Mexico will compete in the men’s fast pitch NAFA wooden bat event during Memorial Day weekend. Teams participating include the Patriots, Regulators and Wolf Pack from Prescott, while the Bandits from Phoenix and Brewers from Window Rock return. McCoy 913 of Red Rock, New Mexico, are also set to attend. Games begin Saturday at 8 a.m. at Ken Lindley Field. Sunday’s playoffs are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., with the championship slated for 4 p.m. There is no admission fee. Back of the Pack running club offering two summer sessions
Prescott’s Back of the Pack running club, created to help beginners, is scheduled to offer two summer sessions this year, each lasting about four weeks. The first session runs Saturday, June 9, through Saturday, June 30, with session two beginning Saturday, July 7, and going through Saturday, July 28. The cost of each session is $25, which includes four coach-led group runs and two cross-training sessions each week. Prescott Rebels 12U club competing for national title in Cooperstown
The Prescott Rebels 12U youth baseball team has been chosen to play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park and American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament the week of July 28 in the “Magical Mythical Home of Baseball” in Cooperstown, New York. In addition to competing against teams from around the country, members of the Prescott Rebels will be enshrined into the prestigious American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.
