Letter: Soil plugs not dog droppings
Re: Health Hazard (letter, April 21), I believe Mike Chumbley might be a victim of mistaken identity when he writes that the courthouse plaza is “full of dog poop.”
A couple of weeks ago the city aerated the grass, pushing thousands of soil plugs to the surface. Same shape, same texture, same color as dog poop.
If he is complaining about actual dog poops, I invite him to accompany my greyhound Freya and I on our daily laps around the courthouse to point out the plethora of poop. In my five years of daily strolls, I have never seen a dog walker knowingly ignore picking up his/her best friend’s waste.
