A red Mustang went tumbling off of Highway 89A just west of the Granite Dells Parkway onramp Tuesday, March 27.

The driver, a man in his 30s, told emergency responders he had lost control of his vehicle because of someone breaking hard in front of him, forcing him to swerve to avoid a collision, said Conrad Jackson with the Prescott Fire Department.

“When he [swerved], he went off the side of the road, rolled the vehicle multiple times, but never lost consciousness,” Jackson said.

Fortunately, the man was wearing his seat belt, and, therefore, received only minor injuries.

“It could have been a whole lot worse,” Jackson said. “He had a little nick from his glasses cutting into his nose and a little abrasion on his head, but he was otherwise A-Okay.”
