Pet focus: Penny — United Animal Friends

Penny

Penny

Penny is a pretty, domestic long hair, charcoal-gray-and-white tuxedo cat, born Dec. 19, 2012. Once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate. She loves to be petted and will jump on your lap for attention.

Before being rescued, she lived outside. Perhaps for that reason, she is defensive around other cats and dogs and would, therefore, do best as an only pet. It is not known how she would do with children, but a supervised introduction would be okay.

Penny is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is spayed. As the UAF Superstar of the Week, her adoption fee is $20 to a UAF-approved home.

To learn more about Penny, contact Ruth, 928-379-1088, or read about her on UAF’s website: www.UnitedAnimal Friends.org.

UAF is in need of foster homes for dogs and cats, as well as volunteers for many UAF programs. Interested animal lovers should contact Jann, UAF volunteer coordinator, at 602-402-7404 or jannkpamperspets@gmail.com. To foster a cat or dog, call 928-778-2924.

Donations for UAF’s foster program can be sent to United Animal Friends, P.O. Box 11133, Prescott, AZ 86304 or can be made online at www.UnitedAnimalFriends.org. Contributions help with spaying/neutering, medical care and food for fostered pets.
