Letter: No collusion?

Editor:

In regard to Mr. Whitney’s letter, “No Collusion,” the Special Counsel was appointed to determine the extent of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

His charge includes the ability to bring charges against whatever he may uncover that is a violation of federal law. So far he has obtained two guilty pleas and two indictments against people working for the Trump campaign.

He also just filed indictments against 13 Russian nationals.

Every time some bit of information is released or indictment announced the Trump defenders shout NO COLLUSION! The guilt of one person is not evidence of the lack of guilt for another. You fail to comprehend that no representative of the DOJ, FBI or the Special Counsel has stated that President Trump has done anything illegal. Members of his campaign did.

Guilty pleas and indictments are not fake news. Only pundits and media people are making or defending accusations against POTUS. You keep denying things that are NOT being charged. Let the investigation run its course and stop trying to declare the entire endeavor a witch hunt. EVERY person in authority over the investigation is a Trump appointee.

It would be the height of paranoia to think that everyone he appointed is out to get him.
