In casual attire, Gov. Doug Ducey mingled with a crowd of 100 business and civic professionals Friday, June 22, at a Prescott Chamber of Commerce event where he officially announced his intentions to seek re-election.
Ducey has been making the rounds of communities across the state as part of his re-election campaign; on Friday he visited at the morning reception held at The Finn in the Touchmark development.
Ducey officially announced his re-election plans, thanking his supporters for the confidence they had in him four years ago and moving forward.
He said he considers the last four years as a privilege, one with challenges but ones that he believes have proved beneficial to the state that has seen considerable economic recovery, new support for public education and a continued focus on making Arizona a place people want to visit and to live.
