On Saturday evening, May 12, the Prescott Elks Theater was the host site for our “Smiles for Special Olympics” comedy show, benefitting our local Special Olympics programs (Chino, Prescott and Prescott Valley).

The theater was filled as our featured comedian, Mark Cordes, “The Spouse Whisperer,” kept everyone laughing all night long.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to our generous sponsors and prize donors, the Elks Theater and their wonderful staff, the talented Mark Cordes, the great volunteers and the awesome show attendees who graciously opened their hearts and wallets.

With everyone’s assistance, we were able to raise a lot of money for our Angels (Special Olympics Athletes) in our local area, serving over 600 people and their programs.

This wonderful community and our citizens continue to amaze me as we all work together to better the lives of so many.

Thank you all for caring.
