RE: Georgia Airplane Crash
On the Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1950, I witnessed a B-25 aircraft lose an engine on takeoff. As the plane returned to the field, the pilot banked on the dead engine side and the plane nosedived to earth. I suspect the same situation happened to the plane in Georgia. More than likely your analyst can come up with a more accurate analysis.
In the Air Force, we were on a mission over New Mexico and an engine failed. Fortunately, when we prepared to land, the pilot banked into the operational engine, and we made a safe landing.
