The club is expanding its PV location at 8201 E. Loos Drive. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona, Fain Family Branch, will include a new gymnasium. The club’s Prescott location, 335 E. Aubrey St., will also be expanded and retrofitted soon, said Gerald Szostak, executive director.

The club has raised about $1.8 million for the expansion, and has a ways to go toward its goal.

Representatives from Phoenix Suns Charities and the Northern Arizona Suns were present at the naming ceremony, along with area officials and dignitaries, to highlight their partnership with the club as well.

The Suns are planning to be active in the club and practice there, Szostak previously said

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona provides after-school and summer programs in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. Their programs focus on four key areas: Academic Success, Healthy Choices, Character Development and Leadership, and Fun with a Purpose, providing youth with the tools they need to enjoy childhood and become successful adults.

Every year, hundreds of children and teens benefit from programs through their clubhouses, and outreach services in the community.
